There’s no shortage of delicious fish here either. Rainbow trout (steelhead), brown trout fish, most species of lake perch, Coho salmon, and Chinook salmon are the most notable. The notion of our identity or reputation being our greatest asset certainly isn't new. Never before in history has it been more important to our daily lives or as vulnerable than now. This new hyper-vulnerability to identity theft exists in ways too numerous to list here.

Data breaches from large companies we do business with are outside of our control. Think of the huge breach regarding credit reporter Equifax breach between May and July 2017. People's names, Social Security numbers, and a lot of other personal information was taken. The thieves also stole credit card numbers from about 209,000 people (FTC.GOV, 2017).

While credit card fraud is a form of identity theft and the latter can be more damaging due to multiple account access and new account creations, credit card fraud is more prevalent due to a growing scam. Online or Card-Not-Present (CNP) purchasing is among the fastest developing forms of credit card fraud. shows that the increased security of chip cards has forced crooks to shift their activities to these online CNP transactions.
